This woman literally shut down the prosecution/investigation into Demcorats in this state CAUGHT ON FILM and AUDIO accepting bribes for legislative votes!...
She’s a hack and a criminal, and if all she got was less than 2 years max for her crimes, she got off light... but Political hacks never have to pay the real price for their sins.

The article is a good read and I recommend it. I think its amazing after all she did there were people who vouched for her. This is esp troubling b/c shes a lawyer and top ‘cop’ for the state, yet she felt completely comfortable perpetrating numerous felonies. It wasnt as though she didnt have a full understand of the laws being broken or the troubles it would cause.
This (alleged) human being is thoroughly vile. In addition to the charges on which she's been sentenced, she destroyed the life of a career prosecutor and one of his investigators, labelling their investigation into the Pennsylvania Black Caucus "racist" and shutting down the two year probe.
The reason? Both Republicans and Democrats were offered bribes. Only the Democrats took the bribes. Both white and black politicians were offered bribes. Only the black politicians took the bribes. Therefore: racism.
In addition to the baseless claims of racism, she leaked details of the probe to officials under investigation, and to the Philadelphia Inquirer. She also leaked correspondence between the investigators, and when the mayor of Philadelphia (and a Democrat) threatened to continue the probe under the authority of his own prosecutors, she proceeded to leak confidential emails from various state officials to create a smokescreen for her own wrongdoing.
This (alleged) person is a complete POS. She'll likely serve about 3-6 months of prison time, and then spend the rest of the sentence with a bracelet at home. None of the really serious charges -- that she became an accessory by inserting herself into, and then destroying an investigation that was ready to go to court before she stepped in -- will ever be brought, and about a half dozen criminals will continue to serve in the PA legislature.

My kids need me? What a whiny appeal to the judge. The judge should have slapped with more time for that whiny plea; like she wasn’t thinking of them when committing the crime thinking she’d get away with it?
Never once in the local Pittsburgh newscast did they mention she is a DEMOCRAT!
