Here in the Old Dominion, the state senate is closely divided, and control of that chamber rested on exactly five competitive districts out of 40 statewide. I live in one of them, the 29th (Manassas and Prince William), where scumbag Michael Bloomberg gave the ‘Rat candidate at least $2 million, and the ‘Rat Jeremy McPike (should be McPink) beat our candidate, Manassas mayor Hal Parrish, by about 2,500 votes.
In the neighboring 13th district (mostly Loudoun County, west of Dulles Airport), one of the most conservative senators, Dick Black, was running against Dr. Jill McCabe, the wife of the crooked FBI guy. Gov. Terry McAwful needed her to win; that is why the ‘Rats dumped so much money into her campaign. Black beat her by 2,500 votes out of almost 50,000 cast.
In the end, it was the voters of Powhatan County, a growing suburban area west of Richmond, that saved the day for the GOP, overturning a lead for the ‘Rat in the neighboring county, and electing the 21st GOP senator. Had the result been 20-20, the ‘Rats would have controlled the Senate as we have a ‘Rat LG here named Ralph Northam.
Don’t know name but heard on Hannity or Brit Hume it was the agent tasked with overseeing the Clinton email investigation....
