Oh deer! Arby's to sell venison sandwiches in six hunting states this fall

The venison sandwich will be available for a few days at 17 select restaurants from Oct. 31 to Nov. 28 in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Georgia.

Pennsyltucky, eh? I’ll probably have to try one. The venison must come from farm-raised captive deer. It has always been highly illegal to buy or sell wild harvested game meat in PA.

Fried Thumper isn’t so bad, either. Don’t forget the homemade fries. I practically grew up on those. Never saw the cartoons, we menfolk were too busy hunting up dinner.

It was (and I remember reading somewhere here on FR), that moose expel somewhere in the neighborhood of 293,000,000 metric tons of methane into the atmosphere world wide, per year.
The army also dished out a lot of horse meat.

I’ve only eaten venison chili, squirrel stew, bear chili, pheasant and quail.
Only game I’ve ever cooked is pheasant, quail and one rattlesnake(I’ll never do that again)
