I actually think communist countries that no longer practice communism become more like national socialists like WWII Germany. Its a fine line between the two. The Nazis allowed some capitalistic freedom.

Yes, and Stalin’s reign had elements of national versus international socialism. Especially when Goering’s definition of national socialism is taken note of:
Marxist socialism was degraded to a concern only with pay or the stomach. The bourgeoisie degraded nationalism into barren hyper-patriotism. Both concepts, therefore, must be cleansed and shown to the people anew, in a crystal-clear form. The nationalism of our worldview arrived at the right moment. Our movement seized the concept of socialism from the cowardly Marxists, and tore the concept of nationalism from the cowardly bourgeois parties, throwing both into the melting pot of our worldview, and producing a clear synthesis: German National Socialism. That provided the foundation for the rebuilding of our people. Thus this revolution was National Socialist. …
Ultimately, all about kleptocratic authoritarianism, of course.
… (Marx) visualized a regimented breed of Pavlovian men whose minds could be triggered into immediate action by signals from their masters. He wanted a race of men who would no longer depend upon free will, ethics, morals or conscience for guidance. Perhaps, without quite realizing it, Marx was setting out to create a race of human beings conditioned to think like criminals. Producing such a race had been the dream of power-hungry men for more than 4,000 years. Nimrod had projected the design, Plato polished it, Saint Simon sublimated it — now Marx materialized it. Today this breed of criminally-conditioned man walks the earth in sufficient numbers to conquer countries or continents, to change laws and boundaries, to decree war or peace. …

The Naked Communist, Introduction
In this analysis, the description of “kleptocracy” becomes more apt.

Not at all; I wasn’t being a Wise Guy or slamming you. You do sound quite well-informed and erudite.
