Former Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner is cooperating with authorities in the FBI investigation of his laptop that contains emails that prompted the Federal Bureau of Investigation to reopen its probe into Hillary Clinton's use of an unauthorized email server.
The news that Weiner is cooperating, reported by Fox News' Bret Baier on Sunday, would help law enforcement with the investigation, since officials didn't yet have a warrant to read through the material found on the device.

Weiner is a lot of things but not stupid. If he gives up anything it because his lawyers told him to do so. He and Huma and Clinton are now on the oppisite side of the legal table. None of them want to go to jail and all are thinking Trump may be the next president. It is to Huma’s advantage to keep her mouth shut and hid behind her lawyers until Hillary may be elected. It is to Weiner’s advantage to make a deal now before Hillary or Trump is elected. Huma knows all the secrets. Wiener knows most of the secrets and he had the emails that Huma professed she did not know how they got on his laptop.
We have a situation were people are trying to keep out of jail, or just stay alive.

you know, the thing about everyone fretting over another clinton murder is, all the other ones were virtual unknowns before their demise. if someone like weiner or huma bit the dust right in the middle of a media firestorm, it would be earth shattering for the clintons.
It would certainly be obvious.
Maybe that’s his protection.
I would not want to be on the Clinton’s hit list, nevertheless.

His face is so recognizable it’s hard to imagine a safe place for him in the US in witness protection. I guess we taxpayers would have to foot the bill for facial reconstruction surgery, assuming of course Huma doesn’t get to him first with a carving knife.

i’m trying to convince myself that there are agents from the old school whose attitude to comey and lynch are like, “take your best shot but i’m exposing the truth.”
