Ran into a Hillsborough poll worker and an business associate today who labels herself as a ‘yellow dog Democrat.’
The poll worker indicated a massive surge in Independents voting early... and the yellow dog Democrat has already voted for Trump.
Personally I’ve rarely (maybe once) voted on a day other than election day. And that was still in an early voting precinct. I trust no one when it comes to my ballot....maybe I’m paranoid but that’s just because everybody is out to get me. : )
Not a Florida resident, but keep an eye on turnout in Miami-Dade, Broward, Hillsborough, and Pinellas.
Those are the counties that will determine the Florida election results.
Trump drew north of 20,000 enthusiastic supporters, with estimated thousands more outside the venue.
HRC drew about 400-500 based on aerial visual on her birthday. Her campaign claimed there were 4000. Either way, the aerial video also shows people leaving while HRC was still speaking. Perhaps they were expecting cake? You be the judge Hillary Clinton October 26, 2016 Tampa Florida
I’m in Texas, not Florida, but I have some good news about voting so far in San Antonio (which usually votes Dem). Yesterday, I spoke with Ex-Texas Redhead’s brother. He had spoken with some polls workers here in Bexar County, and they told him that all of the early voting locations on the north side of town were jammed all of last week, whereas those on the south side were largely empty. North side is fairly well-to-do and quite conservative, South side is what got Julian Castro elected as mayor and Joaquin elected to Congress - i.e. big libs.
So the other side is demoralized as Hell, and our side is motivated like I’ve never seen. My wife and I waiting on line for 50 minutes last Thursday to vote, and we were happy to do it.
I’m getting that 1980 feeling - it is going to be a landslide by a “foaming-at-the-mouth maniac” outsider, that will shock the Hell out of the media and the libs/Leftists. Oh, and Trump will turn out to be a pretty damned fine President, just like Reagan did.
2016 - Early Voting:
Look for reduced turnout in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. If that happens, this will be the best sign of all for a Trump win. Then track the counties along the I4 corridor. That is traditionally where the election is won or lost.
Dem Florida operative (inactive) has a lot of info.

Ends: “...Right now, the GOP is ahead of where I thought they would be albeit not by a lot. It doesnt mean Trump or Clinton is winning nope, it means it is a dog fight for turnout. So if you want your candidate to win, go to the local field office and get to work.”
Northern Florida which is actually Southern must vote very heavily. Those folks are more closely aligned with their northern neighbors in Georgia and Alabama than with Miami and Ft Lauderdale.
That “deep blue” county is Sumter county, home of The Villages retirement town—it is VERY VERY conservative and will go for Trump bigly.
