I think Bill remains popular among Democrats just based on his personality and charisma as a politician. But I think democrats are equally tired of the “package deal” as Hillary has none of the above qualities and fails to excite anyone...especially now.

During the Bill Clinton administration, friend and foe alike, remarked on his political acumen (the term "political animal" was often used to describe him). No one has, with a straight face, used the words "charm" or "charisma" to describe Hillary. She is ambition without humanity.
