In today's, 25th, Wikileaks release of hacked Podesta emails, one of the notable highlights is a March 2, 2015 exchange between John Podesta and Clinton aide Cheryl Mills in which the Clinton Campaign Chair says "On another matter....and not to sound like Lanny, but we are going to have to dump all those emails."
The email, which may indicate intent, was sent at the same time as the NYT story "Hillary Clinton Used Personal Email Account at State Dept., Possibly Breaking Rules" - which for the first time revealed the existence of Hillary's email server - hit, and just days before Hillary's press conference addressing what was at the time, the stunning revelation that she had a personal email account, and server, in her home.
Mills' response: "Think you just got your new nick name."
It is unclear which Lanny is referred to: the infamous former DOJ staffer Lanny Breuer who quit in January 2013 after telling Frontline that some banks are too big to fail, or, more likely Lanny Davis, special counsel to President Bill Clinton, and spokesperson for the President and the White House on matters concerning campaign-finance investigations and other legal issues
It is also unclear for now which emails Podesta is referring to in the thread, but Podesta adds: "better to do so sooner than later." We can hope that a subsequent response, yet to be leaked by Wikileaks, will provide more color.

Yes, it is illegal to delete government records, so any plan to delete emails wholesale would be destruction of government property and a violation of records retention laws, at a minimum.
The private server was created to avoid compliance with those requirements, and here we have evidence of a willful plan to destroy those documents once the private server has been discovered.
We need to dump the emails meaning what? We need to delete them, or dump them for people to read?

Makes you wonder if the Clintoonies didn’t ask that the Russkis to “dump” the emails as payback for the uranium Clintoon sold to them. That way the Clintoonies can say that the Russkis dumped the emails as a way of discrediting the emails. How’s that for a conspiracy theory. LOL. What the heck?! Why not? This whole election has been a circus so far.
As a logical person, you are entitled to consider earlier remarks in light of future happenings.
Which meaning of “dump” actually transpired?
From the context—Podesta saying that “we’re going to have to do it, so it’s better to do it sooner rather than later”—I am leaning toward’s the MSM’s claim that he meant a “document dump.” Yes, I know, Hillary did not release the e-mails, and she erased them (or at least tried to). But I get the feeling that Podesta wanted a document dump (preferably on a Friday evening before a long weekend) instead of risking that they be discovered later at a more inopportune time. Remember, Podesta is the guy that, in another leaked e-mail, was saying that the reason why Hillary did not want to admit what she had done was that she “wants to get away with it.” He doesn’t seem to me to be as reckless as the Clintons are, and I would be surprised if he were so brazen to have put in writing that Hillary should destroy the e-mails.
And if Podesta indeed was that reckless, why would he use the word “dump” when recommending that they destroy the e-mails, when such word normally meant”, in political-campaign lingo, “release at a time in which no one was paying attention?
Anyhow, my two cents. I don’t think that Podesta’s e-mail is a smoking gun, but we don’t need one to convict Hillary (at least in the court of public opinion), since those e-mails didn’t get deleted by themselves.

Both types of “dumps” occured, but I think Podesta was referring here to the legal kind.

Documents show that Podesta received 75,000 shares of Joule Unlimited Technologies......an outfit which was linked to alleged money laundering by the Russian government, according to media reports.
..huma and Donna Brazile have been thrown to the dogs but....Debbie Wasserman Schultz....she was picked UP by Hillary the same day she was fired by the DNC!....now that would not show some sort of racism on Clinton’s part would it.....or WOULD IT?
