"Journalists" who take sides aren't journalists, they're propagandists, and journalists who make value judgments outside their areas of expertise are frauds and amateurs. What we are seeing in the AGW debate especially, is journalists arrogating roles in judgment who can't even properly define the terms used. A normal journalist would say, "Joe disagrees with Bob and Jack about anthropogenic global warming." A propagandist would say, "Joe is wrong about anthropogenic global warming because Bob and Jack say so." Armbinder extends that to, "Joe is wrong about anthropogenic global warming because I say so." That is, sadly, the rule set under which not only political journalists, but journalists at large, work under these days.

Journalism students have and are being taught by leftist propagandists in virtually every school for decades now.

They are taught to be activists for “little guy” and to advance big Government solutions for every issue.

In addition, they write the narratives of politically correct speech and guilt people into accepting moral uncertainty as having value over judgement.
