4 things that stink about the Clinton email investigation
Conservativereview ^ | October 31, 2016 | By: Dan Bongino

I was a federal agent for over a decade. During that time, I was the lead investigator in a number of federal criminal-investigations. In my experience, I have never seen or heard about a criminal case handled like the Hillary Clinton email investigation. Here are just a few of the puzzling anomalies that should leave you scratching your head:

  1. Why is the FBI seizing computers now from the Weiner household and why didn't they seize all of the potentially incriminating evidence at the start of the investigation? If it was a genuine investigation into the transfer of classified information electronically, and otherwise, why not seize ALL of the computers from the start? I used to enjoy working counterfeit currency cases and cannot imagine a scenario where we would initiate a counterfeit investigation but NOT seize the counterfeit printing devices. It’s illogical.
  2. Why agree to forgo prosecuting potential co-conspirators Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin — and destroy the computer evidence they possess — before charging them with a crime? That's not the way the process works. In order to build leverage against a criminal conspirator, a federal agent would typically draw up a federal complaint or seek an indictment. Second, an agent would get an arrest warrant from a judge pursuant to a probable cause ruling and then, AFTER THE ARREST, he or she would ask if the arrested individual wished to cooperate, potentially using their cooperation against co-conspirators. Third, if the cooperation is substantive, then a 5k letter is issued to a judge, which indicates the subject's level of cooperation and how that should be considered in sentencing the cooperating defendant. None of that was done in this case. They essentially said to Hillary's co-conspirators, “Help us, pretty please, or else we’ll have to ask you again.”
  3. Why would you allow a co-conspirator in a criminal case to act as a lawyer for another co-conspirator? There is NO attorney-client privilege if the attorney is a part of the investigation. Allowing Cheryl Mills in the room for the questioning of Hillary Clinton when Mills was also part of the investigation allowed both Clinton and Mills the opportunity to coordinate their stories. It's difficult to coordinate a false story if you're questioned separately and that's why we rarely, if ever, put multiple subjects in the same interview room.
  4. Why did FBI Director Comey, along with a number of Clinton campaign surrogates, insist that this investigation wasn’t worthy of prosecution due to a lack of criminal “intent”? The criminal law that Hillary Clinton and her surrogates appear to have violated, 18 USC 793, doesn’t require intent. It requires only “gross negligence” in the improper removing, handling, and transferring of classified information under section (f) of the law. Surely the FBI Director knows this. Surely Clinton’s surrogates, assuming they can read, know this as well. You should be asking yourself: If the FBI Director knows this, then why did he publicly state that the FBI was not recommending prosecution based on misleading information about the elements of the crime in question? Would you get the same deference if you committed these acts? I don’t think so, because I’ve arrested people, and seen them prosecuted, for far less.

If you're a liberal, please feel free to ignore all of this. I understand that Hillary is your political messiah and facts are irrelevant, so you can go ahead and move along now. But for those interested in the future of the country, this should deeply concern you. Ask any honest federal agent, Democrat or Republican, if they've ever seen a serious federal investigation handled like this, and I'm absolutely sure they'll confirm what I'm telling you. Something stinks in this case. Just like something seems to stink every time a Clinton touches it. Are you sure you want this stench back in our White House?

Maybe Comeys not as smart as they say. Or maybe he’s just corrupt like all the rest of them.

So Hillary, according to Comey , displayed “extreme carelessness” rather than “gross negligence” Huh?

Like Trump says, investigate the investigation.

And like they are taking back national guard reenlistment bonuses because they were offered "illegally", how about revoking the immunity given to Hillary's cronies because the "investigators" who offered it in the case are actually co-conspirators?

Why did FBI Director Comey, along with a number of Clinton campaign surrogates, insist that this investigation wasn’t worthy of prosecution due to a lack of criminal “intent”?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Its simple really, but most American s are blind to the assertion and to the facts.

Our government has been traduced by extortion and bribes , based on a plan, strategically implemented, slowly over a period of 8 years. This was accomplished by the various political apparatchiks of the Obama Campaign ( which never has ceased over 8 years.), and by the Czars appointed to facilitate a shadow government.Patriotic Americans and conservatives were systematically purged , demoted or prosecuted. No crisis was left unexploited in this way.
The methods used were taught by Saul Alinsky, the ideological hero of both Obama and Clinton

The result is that the governmental institutions of the United States became organs of the Obama campaign itself.
It was a creeping coupe. We are no longer a nation of laws, but a nation of political correctness dictated by the length of the liberal fascist foot on any given day, an “uber” morality which is destructive of the Constitution itself.

This un-American governmental system needs to be terminated with a great deal of prejudice. We now try the ballot box, and next it will be the bullet box if the ballot box fails. But the electoral system itself may have been maliciously damaged beyond repair.

And if you think we are not subject to liberal fascism, please read this article. You will be glad yo did, themn you know the true historical perspective of what it is exactly now that America faces:

Barrack Obama: The Quintessential Fascist

Comes was just parroting what his DOJ masters told him to say, or else he does not understand the meaning of intent as defined in law and would be known to any first year law student. The question is not did you intend to endanger US National Security, it is, did your intentional actions do what the law forbids. It’s not a subtle distinction.

Why was the FBI allowed to decide guilt in the first place? Their job is to investigate and send the evidence to a grand jury. The FBI in this case usurped the grand jury.

Corrupt is more like it.

I am appalled by our legal system and the corruption within it. I am appalled by our government, same reason.

I am appalled to read today that there are still such a high number of people voting for Clinton.

The only conclusion I can draw is that women and people who love women do not understand what Muslumists run the Clinton Cabal. Neither do they understand Sharia Law or the Qu’ran.

Ignorance will drown us in death.

I have to wonder how much classified info Hillary sold for “donations” to her “foundation.”

I am now wondering if the OPM breach was intentional on the part of Obama and Hillary, too.

The left has always had crazy conspiracy stories about intelligence and classified information—what happens when crazy leftist conspiracists like that get into a position where they have some control over the intel process?

The people we elect really matter, and I don’t think most leftists understand that. They’re just focused on the promises of utopia.

As to #4: The best reason that I have seen as to why violations for handling classified material were not pursued was that President Obama was discovered to be one of Hillary’s email correspondents. He, by virtue of his position, has the authority to de-classify anything. Charge Hillary and her first witness is Obama — who cannot claim ignorance of the private email server or it’s use for State Department business. Political firestorm erupts, but is quickly quelled on the legal side when Obama produces a post-dated document showing he declassified the subject matter.

There’s a central issue here that’s confusing. IIRC it was the New York Police Dept. that seized Weiner’s electronic devices as part of the investigation into the sexting with an underage female. This was first reported around 9/21/2016. It was after the NYPD found other files with the emails that they contacted the FBI.

The FBI was out of the loop until the NYPD clued them in. That means that the feds may have no way of sequestering the contents of the laptop. They’ve already been released into the wild. Comey had no choice but to acknowledge the existence of the emails and reopen the investigation.

The leaks that went to FB about the pedophilia were attributed to NYPD sources.

I’d like to know what the (expletive deleted) NSA was doing in all of this. They read our emails; do they not read government official’s emails? Their data banks should be full of “keyword” mined data.

I think Comey reopened the case out of self preservation. Nothing more, nothing less. If Hillary steels the election he gets asked to leave. If Trump wins the election, he joins the line to the gallows.

I think that Comey is the first rat to leave the sinking Hillary ship. He could have information that, despite the best efforts of the Democrat Party, the Elite Republicans, the main stream media to steal the election for Hillary, Donald is going to win. He[ Comey] has already lost his honor. He has already lost his integrity. All he has remaining hi his ass and he is trying to save what he can of that.
