Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton talks with aide Huma Abedin.
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) We dont know whether the reopening of the FBI probe of Hillary Clintons emails will cost her the election.
It may be that she will still emerge the winner after next Tuesdays vote, or that Donald Trumps momentum from the Wikileaks emails, Obamacares failures, and Clintons flawed candidacy were going to carry him to victory in any case.
What we do know is that whoever wins, we are in for a fiasco in politics that will make even this fiasco of a campaign pale by comparison.
There is hardly any scenario that is too far-fetched. Even if the polls are right and Clintons lead translates into an electoral victory, she will be so damaged going into office that her chances of getting anything done will be virtually nil.
In this sense alone, Trumps claim that this scandal is worse than Watergate could prove to be true. As an incumbent, Richard Nixon at least had an administration in place when he won re-election in 1972, though it took nearly another two years before he was forced to resign under threat of impeachment.

FNS just stated that Kaine and Bill have cancelled their rallies today.somethings up!
Sorry. On my phone. FNC.
Yup.
A Hillary victory would be a Pyrrhic victory.
Half the country hates her guts and she isn’t exactly Ms. Clean.
Let me guess: no one with a brain wants to see Hillary’s minions.
That’s all we need to know.
The other thing to remember is that should Clinton win on Tuesday November 8th she and the Democrats will have to deal in 2018 with the midterm elections. Historically Democrats when in power do absolutely awful in the midterms and this will be a far worse outcome than anything before in my view.
Yep! Agree.
Good points.
Even if she wins the election, the reopened FBI investigation will go forward. We will see yet another Clinton scandal play out. We will all ask, what did the president know, and when did she know it. There will be Clintonian parsing of language, and debates about whether the Clintons really feel they are above the law. There will be Clintonian and liberal media efforts to shift blame. There will be people such as Huma Abedin thrown under the bus as the Clintons do anything to save their own butts.
If Hillary is elected, the presidency will be under a cloud.
We the people have a remedy though. We can all vote “no” to putting the Clintons back in the White House. Then the justice system can play out with whatever Hillary has done, outside of the White House.
Ds should want Hillary to lose so they can retake the House in 2018.
LOCK HER UP!
We’re still her judge and jury when all is said and done.
I voted her “GUILTY!” - my hope is that she’ll go to the Big House.
Lockup.
yes, actually, if Democrat strategists are thinking long term, they would hope to see Hillary go down in 2016, to help Democrats in mid term elections in 2018, and beyond.
If Hillary loses, then hopefully the Clintons are finished politically forever.
The Clintons are not universally loved in the Democrat party. If she blows this election, no way she can come back and run in 2020.
Of course depending what comes out of the FBI investigation, she might be politically radioactive anyway.
Heck, if Hillary does manage to get elected, could we see his and her impeachments, if you get my meaning???
Thanks!
What true American could ever vote for such a threat to their nation as Hillary Clinton.
We will walk barefoot over rough gravel, over the river
and thru the woods, to the polls on Election Day,
November 8th and vote:
Donald John Trump, President & Mike Pence, V.President
exactly.
the legal process will play out. And it will take a lot of time to sort through it all.
But we the people can vote “no” right now, and vote that we’ve seen and heard enough, and that we don’t want the Clintons back in power. That aspect of all of this is in our hands.
This sentiment is exactly why I suspect a lot of Democrats will privately see the wisdom of having Trump win. The Democrats will be much better off after November 8th with a U.S. population that grudgingly supported an unconventional presidential candidate than a population that believes the entire legal and political system in this country is damaged beyond repair.
What true American could ever vote for such a threat to their nation as Hillary Clinton.
Well, liberals will vote for anyone who is liberal/radical/Alinskyite. You can’t confuse a liberal with the facts . They vote Democrat no matter what.
