It happened to me.

When I clicked on "Latest Posts", I was redirected to a meaningless site.

Once I cleared the cache, all was well

I’m having a problem with FR for a while now. I can only see article headlines and when I go to the page to change it, I just get a bunch of blank two-tone bars. at the top of the screen that look like they are supposed to be buttons or something.

Every major browser has a configuration setting to clear your history and cache when you close the browser. If you’re not using it, you’re leaving your information out there for anyone to gather.

If you have seen a Clinton ad anywhere you are probably a `carrier`. It doesn't take any action on your part to gain the malware virus other than to be on a site where the malvertising is active. Once you carry the malware it travels with you in an effort to disrupt your navigation on targeted web sites/web pages.

That is 100% drivel. The effect is that anyone who sees a browser hiccup of any sort will clear cache and cookies and then be ok and then believe the drivel. Sometimes clearing cache does help. But I haven't cleared cache or cookies since maybe last summer or late spring. I use Safari on the Mac, and I avoid all click bait which is a good portion of what we see here these days.

In short, people are trying to waste your time, and other people fall for it.
