Poor predictor Colorado is different, it's an entirely vote-by-mail state along with OR and WA, so you really don't have your traditional election day voting.
Where Early Vote is helpful is apples-to-apples comparisons from previous years e.g. 2012 vs. 2016. You can't really do that for Colorado because it switched to Vote By Mail in 2013.

That's what they're saying now that Hillary is behind in early voting and her AA voters are bailing. Before that, just last week, it was a great "early indicator." Doh!
