When running Fixfire access to the internet randomly stops. I can bring up Explorer at that time and it can’t access the internet. I went through this routine a few times and then found that if I quit using Firefox the problem went away. Then I reinstalled Chrome

Sounds like you make be low on memory, or FF is using too many of your CPU cycles . If you want, while you have a few web pages open, go to the Run command (hold Windows key down and tap the r key) and type msinfo32 and hit OK

Then look for and select and copy (ctrl+c) each line for

Processor )

Total Physical Memory

Available Physical Memory

Page File Space

It would also help to know what the load on the CPU is, but for that you need to hold down ctrl+alt, and delete.

Hope this can help.
