Yes 88,000 advantage. Again it was 168,000 in 2012. We have cut that in half. Romney barely lost.
Problem is the early vote is WAY UP from 2012, meaning it has cannibalized election day vote. They apparently sent out ballots to tons of people encouraging them to early vote.
I am unclear if Drudge is talking about party ID advantage, or actual counted votes that have been leaked. But either way, Trump will not have NEARLY as many votes being cast on election day to make up this gap.
However, he has less of a gap to make up. If you just cut Romney’s election day gain in half, Trump barely squeaks by with a couple thousand votes. It’s a total coin toss. And I hope Drudge’s leak hasn’t given the Dems a good idea of how many ballots they need to fake to make up for the difference.
