“If this passes, ammo shops will sprout up all over the state lines in Nevada and Arizona.”

We already have a new law on the books requiring a “background check” to purchase ammo, and a limit of 50 rounds being the maximum amount you can legally bring back into California. The only caveat is that if you take ammo out of California to go hunting you need proof you bought it here to bring any of it back.
They are also threatening to use California’s Agricultural Inspection Stations at POEs to look for contraband ammo. Actually, that might be a useful activity at the Ag stations because they are about the laziest of state employees. They inspect nothing, but the state has built them Taj Mahal’s nevertheless.

I am a native Californian and I don’t give one flying F#CK about their ammo, firearms or magazine restrictions.
GOD gave me the RIGHT TO DEFEND ME AND MINE.
The pussies in Sacramento have no say in the matter.
Anybody who can’t find their way around the Ag Inspection (basically just on the main freeways) stations shouldn’t be driving interstate any way.
There are hundreds if not thousands of paved and dirt roads in and out of California, I haven’t gone through an Ag station in 30 years, don’t see why I would start now.

PS: I already buy all my ammunition out of state now (Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona), it’s cheaper.
