Hillsborough County (FL) likely to predict winner of presidential election

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) — Florida is known to be a battleground state for presidential elections, and Hillsborough County may be the determining factor.

Hillsborough County’s majority vote has predicted the winner of the presidential election 19 out of the last 20 elections, according to political analysts. The county’s balance of registered democrats, republicans, and independents makes the county one to watch; likely why both the Trump and Clinton campaigns have made multiple stops to Tampa Bay in the past few weeks – with more visits this week.

Thomas Jefferson, that great Author of the Declaration of Independence and President of the United States provided us with an indisputable reason for rejecting a Hillary presidency:
"I am not among those who fear the people. They...are our dependence for continued freedom. And to preserve their independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude. If we run into such debts, as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds...our people...must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, give the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses; and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they (the British) now do, on oatmeal and potatoes; have no time to think, no means of calling the mismanagers to account; but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers....This example reads to us the salutary lesson that private fortunes are destroyed by public, as well as by private extravagance. And this is the tendency of all human governments. A departure from the principle in one instance, becomes a precedent for a second; that second for a third; and so on, till the bulk of society is reduced to be mere automatons of misery, to have no sensibilities left but for sinning and suffering. Then begins, indeed, the 'bellum omnium in omnia,' which some philosophers...have mistaken for the natural, instead of the abusive, state of man. And the fore-horse of this frightful team is public debt. Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression." - Thomas Jefferson

So far we have a lead of nearly 4,000 R ED votes to reduce D early voting advantage to approximately 25,000

3 towns, I believe. Trump won overall, as did Obama in '12 (and '08 IIRC). One of the three towns has been right every presidential election since 2000, and went narrowly to Clinton.

Doesn't mean anything. It's around 100 votes total between the 3 towns, and the town that has been right a few times (4 elections isn't much of a track record in the grand scheme of things) has about 30 votes.

Rep is ahead in today’s voting by almost 4K, but is still behind overall by 25K.

Doesn’t have one. The only town of the 3 which Trump won had never done midnight voting before today.

The other 2 both voted for Hitlery today and also had voted for Bonzo in ‘08 and ‘12. They also had both voted heavily for Bush in ‘00 and ‘04 so they’ve voted for the eventual winner every time this century so far though one of the two was a little less partial to the Rat this time than 4 years ago. Whoopee.

Insofar as those towns actually predict anything nationwide, it’s not good news for 2016.

Not so fast:
Brevard killing it: “Net R+38,331 and robust growth since
7am”

Duval: Obama won by 14,000 Rs+1581

No point in trying to extrapolate a coincidence into a national trend. We’ll see what happens.

Should make clear that that site does NOT have actual votes being counted, just the party registration of those who have voted just like they have for early voting.

Nothing is being counted yet. At least not legally.

I pray to God you are right. It would be great to have everyone in the establishment and media shut up. And it would be great to have states other than “red” states go for Trump.
