After the last 8 years, I have a cheer up deficit.
Towit, finally after being so close but being thwarted by the madison milwaukee chicago cheating democrats in 08 and 12, we finally get WI back.
We kept the scummy Russ Feingold trying to sneak back into the seat he lost 6 years ago, propped up by almost entirely,out of state cash.
We kept all our Republican House seats.
We keep both the state assembly and senate.
Sheriff Clarke won re election earlier this year after being outspent by tens of milions of dollars including the Milw county executive personally spending 600 grand to defeat him.
We will have an excellent pick of a conservative justice who does not invent rights or twists words to mean what they personally want it to mean, or write or edit laws to cover the presidents/congres’ asses, and we have a very good chance ginsburg retires or expires. Souter as well.
Today the drought is over.
The work to keep all this on track is just starting.
I hope we are all up to the task. We got here in the first place by being lazy.
