Twitter is exploding with people calling for president-elect Donald Trump to be assassinated.
The Republican real-estate billionaire beat Hillary Clinton handily to become the next president of the United States, but that hasn’t stopped lots of people calling for somebody to murder him.

Merely saying that you want the President (or in this case, President-elect) assassinated is enough to get an actual, in-person visit from the Secret Service. They sit down with you and explain in exquisite detail just how illegal it is to threaten the President, and conduct a fairly thorough interrogation of your intentions, beliefs, and other pertinent information. It is not pleasant, and would probably be a shattering experience for most of these wanna-be social warriors.
The SS does not take these things lightly regardless of who the President is, and I’d suspect that they’ll be extra thorough in their protection of Trump, because he genuinely respects them; I’m sure they already know just how supportive he’ll be of them.
Twitter was sure quick to censor hashtags critical of Hillary, the DNC, or Wikileaks. Meanwhile, crickets when there are hashtags calling for assassination.
I wonder if the SS can deputize? They’re going to have a LOT of these to deal with over the next few months, as well as probably every time Trump topples another cherished Leftist belief. I’d be happy to help take on some of that caseload.
If I posted here that “someone needs to go smack Obama on the knuckles with a ruler” the SWAT team would be busting down my door within fifteen minutes.
I pray every day that I will be granted the wonderful privilege of being in a hot, shooting war with these people — those who call for the assassination of the President Elect.

Trump's victory shouldn't blind us to the desperately sick state of our country nor the possibility that any serious attempt to fix it will result in widespread civil upheaval. I fully expect to see martial law imposed in the near future, so great and so deeply engrained is the lawless mentality in this country now.

I heard that to be the case but from my perspective a more dramatic example needs be made in these circumstances because as they are evolving each time they get more out of control.
Don’t get me wrong, I believe peaceful demonstration is ingrained in our system. Unfortunately, most of the insane group of “protesters” today are radical thugs. Their rhetoric and actions are a danger to our entire way of life. They are not looking for a stage for their ideas to be heard, they are looking to impose their will above those elected lawfully.
Liberals have been living in a fantasy land bubble where they’re told by the media on a regular basis, just how superior they are. They are told they are more enlightened, smarter and just better people then any republican or basically anyone with a conservative viewpoint. Which is why they free free to be vicious, cruel and even violent towards anyone who doesn’t ‘think’ like they do.
I use the term ‘think’ loosely here, as there is really no thinking that goes on.
It's what socialists and communists do, ask a Ukrainian farmer, a Chinese peasant, a German Jew, a Burmese "intellectual" or an Argentinian student.
This, BTW, is why they support universal gun confiscation. Since they can't control their own violent and evil thoughts, they assume the rest of us can't either!
Let’s hope they’re able to stay on top of this with their current manpower.
They need to detain each person making such threat or inciting an assassination until they can be cleared.
So much for respecting the process. Same goes for all those violent protesters. I’m still waiting for Hillary to tell them to stop it, or ask at they at least protest in a peaceful manner.

What would you expect from Hillary? She said America is against women for not voting for her. She’s so full of herself that I don’t expect more than some limp-wristed, “it’s wrong”. Dialogue.
