Probably not a coincidence that shortly after President-elect Donald Trump's first official visit to the White House & extended private sit-down with Obama, the Internet exploded with excitement over news that Obama has declared the TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) dead, reversing his earlier plan to push for TPP passage before leaving the White House in January. Awesome first deal for us, Mr. Trump. Almost everybody - honest Republicans, honest independents, honest American workers, and honest policy analysts - thought the TPP was a bad idea.
Whoa!! Now maybe he can ship back those Muslims who couldn’t be vetted!!!!!
This is what happens when there’s a MAN in the White House.

I seriously doubt Trump gave up anything to get Obama to give up on TPP.
Obama knows that Trumps victory has scared off way to many Republicans in the house, and they no longer dare to vote for this monstrosity.
Trump is not much of a politician, and this proves it. Every professional in the field knows that once you get elected, it’s okay to betray your voters. Trump is such an uninformed, uneducated hick, that he didn’t know the first rule of politics. I expect many similar disappointments as he continues to unnecessarily keep promises, not just in the 90 days before the next election but all the time.
Pathetic and deplorable - Trump’s honesty has no place in DC!
I imagine that Donald Trump promised not to ask his supporters to come to DC and protest passage of TPP. ;-)

And the leaders of Canada and Mexico both agreeing to re-negotiate/modernize NAFTA with Trump.

Somebody tell Trump that there three divisions within 250 miles of the Texas border. Send them to the border. He’s already paying these guys. Put em to work and stop the flood.
