While y’all are arguing over what bad name to hang on him, let me toss a different kind of description out there: “agile”. Or if you prefer “flip-flopper”. He seems to be one of those people who have no problem figuring out which way the wind is blowing and getting into it, even if it’s from the opposite direction it was yesterday. The fact that people see him doing it doesn’t bother him in the least. Maybe these people figure that “up” is the only direction that matters, at least in business I’ve seen them crap on their peers and subordinates without regard, as long as the boss liked them.
It will be interesting to see if he remains as Speaker because that is a decision that will be made BY his peers.
