Elaborate please, what were you expecting from Gowdy? In his present role he cannot try or prosecute but legislate and investigate...

That also describes Pandsey Graham, who has disappeared from sight since he cast his write-in for Ewan McMuffin. Graham can do a great cross exam and then caves in and folds and whines about comity. Must have to do with the third rate law school they both went to.

I hope Trump overlooks all neocons, especially Bolton.

You don’t like Bolton? Ok. You got a name? Sorry, Lavrov is not available.

” milquetoast”

A perfect one word description. I once had great expectations for him. That didn’t work out either. Definitely there are some better than Mr. Gowdy.

Only names I have seen floated for Sec. State are Rudy, Bolton and Newt. I’ve got a feeling the Putin loving wing of the Trump coalition is going to be disappointed. LOL.

I fear this would be too big of a loss for congress, and what little trust is left in it.

I’ll keep running this out there until someone explains what was expected of Gowdy. He WAS a prosecutor WAS and might I add a damn good one. He never lost a case. He then opted for Congress where he is.a legislator and investigator and nothing more. Thank god he has enough sense to know CONSITUTIONALLY his limits and role in Congress and not using that power to step outside of his legal bounds to prosecute.

Furthermore look what surrounds him...at that time Bohner and now Ryan and a DOJ that wasn’t going to move on anything. He did his job and brought enough to the surface to prosecute. But he is not a prosecutor.

Tell me again what you expected from him

"Why not Giuliani?"

My thought exactly. He's perfect for the job.

It would be great fun to watch him clean up.

Agree-no to Bolton. As one who spent 30 years in the military, he’s part of the problem. The neocon globalists’ answer to any foreign policy problem anywhere in the world is to send in troops. There are times when troops are needed, of course, but not every time. No, no and no to Bolton.

More facts of criminal wrongdoing brought to light and publicized, and less theatrics, like the scenes he staged with Hillary's all day testimony and also, in fact particularly Comey.

Got him to admit, on the record, about all the felonies she committed - for the cameras - and then did nothing with the sworn testimony from the FBI director. Walked away whistling.

His questioning is why I would like him at another position. At one time he did not want to serve all that long in the House. So I say, Rudy for AG and Trey for Solicitor General. Let’s put the pegs in the right holes for the talents displayed.

You proved my point...he did his job. It isn’t up to him to move forward with prosecution that is DOJ or federal prosecutor not Gowdy.
