Rush was anti-Trump for so long Hannity and Laura became the only hosts you could stand. Rush couldn’t go 5 mins without some snarky comment about Trump.

MTP; Chuckie and even David Brooks (NYT “conservative”) had a come to Jesus moment regarding educated vs uneducated voters. The clip from a DFL Minnesota farmer quietly explained that a lack of a college degree does not mean we’re stupid.

It seemed to hit home. Chuckie even apologized to his late father for his elitist attitude.

But most of those polls were wrong and how on earth did they ALL get it wrong?

They failed to steal enough votes because they really didn't get it that this was a WAVE election, a MONSTER election and one that people didn't let on about ahead of time. They only stole enough to make it look like the phony polls were true. HaHa on them!

"Thanks for your summary of the panel discussion."

Lol I literally bailed after that crank started on rates going up. You have to wonder who is actually issuing Dem talking points at this point. Schumer? They are leaderless.

-- And if they start trashing the place, it's a problem for the local authorities in the blue cesspits to deal with. --

It's certainly not Trump's problem. If he's pressed to deal with the issue, he should just say they are acting stupidly. Then repeat, "But it's a free country."

Watching the Media(including Fox)I discovered I have been led astray. Evidently Hillary won the election.

#1 Hillary won the Popular Vote

#2 Trump has to “reach across the aisle”

#3 Trump has to “reach out” to the “protesters”

#4 Trump has to “work with the GOP Congress”

#5 Trump has to “moderate his language”

Same as it ever was.

famous commentators like Rush Limbaugh, kept up nearly *four years* of falsehoods that four million (or some other huge number) GOP voters ‘stayed home’ in 2012 vs. 2008 because of premature election day 2012 reporting of incomplete vote totals.

No, "conservatives" stayed home because the GOPe's RINO nominees suck. The "enthusiasm gap".

The Dems are using the popular vote to de-legitimize Trump's victory. The Dems have won the popular vote 6 out the last 7 elections. They want to get rid of the Electoral College and have direct elections of the President.

An ongoing movement, National Popular Vote, has been working for years with some success at the state level to use interstate compacts to circumvent the Electoral College.

The National Popular Vote bill would guarantee the Presidency to the candidate who receives the most popular votes nationwide (i.e., all 50 states and the District of Columbia). It has been enacted into law in 11 states with 165 electoral votes, and will take effect when enacted by states with 105 more electoral votes. The bill has passed one chamber in 12 additional states with 96 electoral votes. Most recently, the bill was passed by a bipartisan 40–16 vote in the Republican-controlled Arizona House, 28–18 in Republican-controlled Oklahoma Senate, 57–4 in Republican-controlled New York Senate, and 37–21 in Democratic-controlled Oregon House.

Consider now that 2 out of every 3 governors are Republicans, and almost ditto for state legislatures.

Opportunity!!! Now is the time when good amendments could be passed like Trump's idea for universal concealed carry and others.

Sunday Morning Futures (Fox News) Newt Gingrich

Newt on lobbying-insiders have had huge advantages
Newt on building the wall-Trump knows how to build things
Newt on Obamacare-some things are going to survive; example like keep 26 year old on their parents insurance, preconditions, dealing with people who don’t get insurance, people who refuse to get insurance
Newt -not interested in chief of staff
Newt states-can’t have the Romney/McCain attitudes and think it’s not going to stick

The Money Honey had Newt on who made a good case for both Reice and Bannon as Chief of Staff. Said he did not want it and really hammered Romney, Jeb and Kaisich. Said that type of disloyalty damaged the campaign and has consequences.

Tucker Carlson’s new show starts Monday in Greta’s old spot.

He has been aboard the Trump Train all along. Should be a good show!

The correct analogy is a frame up car restoration, the project included a new modern motor an trans, interior, modern brakes but from the old, why not reuse the lugnuts
That is the only simularity

I watched Fox News Sunday and broke my anti Fox rule today. Kelly Ann was brilliant in batting down the “but..but...buts” of Chris Wallace. George Wills was actually lucid today......almost damning Trump with faint praise re picking his transition team. I think it is actually sinking in that Trump won.

They can’t really. I read years ago that States cannot enter into certain types of agreements with other states and that this was a prime example.

They will have to amend the Constitution — so if they do, while they’re at it, let’s change the 17th, and apportion EC in a state by %. So a 50% - 48% tally means 50% EC goes to the winning candidate and 48% EC goes to the loser and everything is rounded in the winners favor.

A lot of people got “unmasked” this election cycle. Rush was one of them. He was very passive/aggressive in dissing Trump and his supporters. I turned him off after so many years of being a loyal listener.
Now he is selling a new book and wants us all to love him again. Not a chance.

They think they can pass Constitutional muster. They are passing legislation at the state level now.

Here is their constitutional argument.
