Right here on FR, many posters and bloggers, and even famous commentators like Rush Limbaugh, kept up nearly *four years* of falsehoods that four million (or some other huge number) GOP voters ‘stayed home’ in 2012 vs. 2008 because of premature election day 2012 reporting of incomplete vote totals. Urban legends can live forever.

I listened to that meme about millions staying home in 2012 and never believed a word of it.

And yeah, Rush kept up that mantra till I wanted to scream.

But hey, nobody lies and exaggerates like the Dems so the Repubs have their one big lie they promote.

No, "conservatives" stayed home because the GOPe's RINO nominees suck. The "enthusiasm gap".
