IMO rather than holding out olive branches, he should just take a hard line from the get go because he is not going to find any movement toward a true consensus presidency. He can begin on Jan 21st by having all the available aircraft, boats, trains and mopeds set to run south and get rid of as many illegals as possible. They can sue from the other side of the wall.
