Absolutely correct. AND there is already a Federal law on the books punishing employers for hiring illegal aliens without checking a national database provided for that purpose. And if an illegal alien assumes a false identity to pass the check, then they’ve just violated a multiplicity of Federal and state laws regarding identity theft, and made themselves eligible for deportation as a criminal (above and beyond being illegally here in the first place.)
