After what other Presidents have taken and what they have spent I would hope President Trump would take the same as all the others and I truly mean that. It looks to me this man is a workaholic and I base that on his campaign and he also spent a lot of his own money.
I believe he will turn out to work harder than any President in my time and I am 77 years old.
To qualify this. This is what I wish for if he toes the mark he has set for himself.
Everyone needs to certainly pray for him and his family. I think they are much more above the run of the mill folks in general that have run this country. I hope and pray so.

My wife and I haven’t watched 60 Minutes for years and since newly elected Trump was on, we thought we would give it a try. Halfway through the interview we changed the station and vowed to NEVER FUCKING EVER watch 60 Minutes again. They just don’t get it!

You are good to watch 60 minutes, I hate that show with the burning passion of a thousand suns. They could do “why jocon307 is the greatest human who ever lived” as a lead story and I still wouldn’t watch it.

Glad Trump did well.

I wasn’t really for him, but I did vote for him, and by the end hubby, me, the kid and the kid’s hubby all voted for him with a full, good heart. Because the left and the media (but I repeat myself) suck in a big, sucking way. Excuse my language, please!

I thought Trump did reasonably well. He shouldn’t have let Stahl get away with cutting him off, though, when he mentioned Wikileaks in connection with protests. He was about to mention evidence that the Democrats sponsored disruptions, but she quickly jumped in. All he had to do was wait twenty seconds to handle her interruption, and then go right back to it.

Also he should have been ready for the charge that Trump supporters are attacking minorities, and mentioned the attacks that are going the other way. Actually it’s the Trump supporters who are at greater risk of violence. Is she looking sad and asking Democrats about that?

Though Trump said he supported election by popular vote instead of the electoral college, he more or less waffled on that, so I don't think he's going to be working to try to do away with it. The United States is a union of states, and that's important to emphasize. People in some of them wouldn't have joined the union in the first place if they'd thought they'd be at the mercy of states with larger populations. The Constitution represented a compromise in which the smaller states continued to retain much of their power. Even now the country is sharply divided, and we need to be moving toward more regional autonomy rather than less.

We have only a small window of time to do so. Even if we stopped all illegal (and even legal) immigration the first day of Trump's presidency (not going to happen), I expect that current population trends are going to put the country under the firm and lasting control of the left within decades (even more so than now). There's very little time left to strengthen guarantees of individual and states rights, and delay the imposition of oppressive controls. If we don't succeed in doing so, the only viable alternative to submission will be separatist violence (and we've seen how nasty that can get in places like the former Yugoslavia).

I'm enjoying the celebration of the Trump victory (for me, unexpected -- I figured we had only about one chance out of three of winning) but let's not be under any delusions. All we have is a brief period in which there's a chance to make things better. National trends are working against us.

Watched the Mark Halpren (?) Show “The Circus” on Showtime.

It was the Election night Finale. Watch it if you can.

The one thing I noticed is they skipped over Hillary sending Podesta to do the dirty work with her Supporters while she called Trump to concede.

The meltdown at the Hillary Election Night location was delicious. I am still drowning in a Sea of Liberal tears.
