Anyone who is surprised at the appointment of right-wing guru Steve Bannon as the Donald Trump administration's chief strategist and counselor has been living in an alternate universe, the universe in which President-elect Trump would "pivot" into something resembling a mainline GOP conservative.
And anyone who is amazed at Trump's temerity in putting a white nationalist into the White House has gravely misunderstood the power of racism in fueling his campaign, and the desire to "turn back the clock" to a time when white men supposedly ruled supreme.
Above all, they've forgotten the cardinal rule of Trumpworld: attachment to profit and the Trump brand is a means of increasing influence and power over others. As CEO of Breitbart News, Bannon is key to that strategy, in America and beyond.

The media may be on the verge of rendering racism a meaningless word. They’ve so slaughtered the definition and made the concept so all-encompassing of a white person’s very existence that it has ceased to have any bite. The accusation no longer has any shock value. It doesn’t even have a single definition that two liberals can agree on let alone all of society. It doesn’t have any function other than to be something you call someone who has conviction about ANYTHING even when it doesn’t have to do with skin color.
Essentially, if you have any kind of moral conviction a liberal will take that to mean that somewhere somehow a firm belief in anything that differs from the party line will eventually harm a race other than your own, so you must be racist.
The truth is, only a small group of the most brainwashed, hypnotized liberals would even try to internalize something so nebulous and stupid. To let it actually affect them.
In these riots in cities all over the country the agitators are having the mobs throw around the words Racism, Fascism and Misogyny when most of them can’t even define those words.
Perhaps if you showed some old videos of segregation and blacks not eating in restaurants with whites we could all agree on racism. But to equate a strong nationalist (Trump or Bannon) with being a racist simply because he is white? How many people outside of the hardcore left have any desire to try to internalize and rationalize that argument?
Fascism? I watched a guy roam through the crowds last night. He couldn’t even find one who could tell him what it was off the cuff when asked. If all the skulls full of mush out there in the streets knew what fascism was they would be more careful about being involved in the riots to begin with. Between Trump and Hillary, Trump has no desire for our system to be one-party and he has run the race on the premise of wanting to do everything possible to not be in pointless wars or start WWIII with Russia. So Fascism is pretty much ruled out. Now Hillary, continuing with Obama’s policies pushing us toward war and having all these mush heads out there in the street complaining they must be the only party and need to win instead of Trump? THAT is moving in the direction of fascism rather than away from it.
Misogyny? I had to look up the spelling of it for this post. Certainly not a word anyone uses regularly. I can only think of a couple of examples of men who might actually hate women on the whole. Seriously. Trump has a family including a daughter. He has a good wife (not his first). He had them speak on stage during his rallies. He is considering women for some cabinet positions. So to say he hates women? Misogynist? Seriously?
Did the brilliant liberal academics mean to maybe use the word chauvinist originally? You could at least try to pin that on any guy with a big mouth without needing much evidence. But instead they picked an entirely different word with a definition that is absolutely impossible to square with his life.
The minute I see a hyphenated name, I stop reading. Saves me LOTS of grief.

Apparently the new talking point is that a conservative white male is a racist.
It is going to be a loooooong 8 years.
We are amazed at the writer's temerity in claiming that Trump is putting a white nationalist into the White House on the basis of feelings!
CNN writers need not facts, common sense analysis, or context to make their unsupported claims and charges. Your hair is not on fire! Bannon will carry out his duties in a fair and even handed manner.
Put a little water on your head. You will feel better.
I recall that the bogus claims that Trump had committed sexual assault stopped when he said that he would sue anyone who slanders him in that fashion.
The question is, how to sue the major media. How do we frame the lawsuit, and how do we approach the legal system?

I wasn’t much inclined to follow the link in any case, once I saw that the author had failed to buttress her claim that Bannon is a white nationalist anywhere within the snippet.
I have been taught to write the “BLUF”—Bottom Line Up Front. So, if I want to make a claim, I better put the evidence for it in the leading sentence and expand on it in the rest of the piece.
Obviously, this CNN author was not taught effective writing.

Look in the Muslim culture for that. Many Muslim men believe that women are nothing beyond their utility in bringing sons into the world.

I clicked on this CNN story looking for their evidence of Bannon’s crimes against humanity.
I simply see no there, there.
Trump’s strategy appears to be to vanquish our left wing enemies by mass hysteria. As a fan of the series The Walking Dead, thankfully I’m desensitized to the site of exploding heads.
Now excuse me while I research pharmaceuticals makers of antidepressants. Never one to pass up a sure thing investment.

When read independently, a piece like this one can be dismissed for the crude Leninist agitprop that it is, but in the context of the great chorus croaking out the slanderous Progessive meme: “Trump is racist! Trump is homophobic! Trump is a xenophobe!” , the lie is amplified. Such BIG LIE propaganda is a staple of the Left. Newly exposed for the “Inevitable Victory” lie they propagated on Hillary’s, behalf, they simply shift gears to begin sliming Trump’s appointees. Are we to believe that the rent-a-mob brigands wailing in the streets had a bunch of papier-mâché Trump heads laying about within hours of his election? Or that, had Hillary prevailed, the Progs would be bitching about the electoral college? Taken in total, we are watching an organized political machine grind out the sickening tactics of Cultural Marxism.
The real rub is the White voting block, if ever cobbled together beats all the freaks plus browns, hands down.
This is the real fear, all their smarmy predictions of whitey being the minority in 2050 is BS. For the 49ers will still beat the 51% since many of the 51 club will not be capable of voting due to lifestyle choices, concentrations in cities with fewer electoral college votes, and many are not civic minded.
All I see them pull out as evidence was he used the word “Jew” in one of his stories, or one of his author’s stories. It proves nothing.
