Why the heck would anyone in their right minds ever even consider being a tourist in the Middle East?
What’s the attraction?
Sand?
Camels?
I can think of a thousand better places to see either of them.
I’ve been to Israel and really enjoyed it, despite my fear before I got there.
I will say that I got jumpy our second day in Jerusalem because it happened to be the first day of Ramadan. I wouldn’t pick that date if I had it to do over again.
