KEEN’S STEAKHOUSE has interesting artifacts such as the playbill on the night when Lincoln died, an early draft of the Gettysburg address, and various playbills from the time when this area was part of the Theatre District.
The restaurant is divided into multiple rooms and each have a unique feel and history...including the Bull Moose Room (dedicated to Teddy Roosevelt), the Lincoln Room, the Lambs Room, and the Lillie Langtry Room (dedicated to the first female customer.)
Old time clay pipes adorn the ceiling of every room, going back to the tradition of customers checking their pipe at their inn in 17th century.....includes the pipes of Teddy Roosevelt, Babe Ruth, Albert Einstein, and J.P. Morgan.
