The president is actually locked out of the amendment process. Congress passes and the states ratify amendments.
I wish Trump weren’t so wishy-washy on this critical issue. And it is every bit as critical as anything else we have to deal with.
I don’t know how some of these things will play out.
It wouldn’t surprise me that by the time Trump leaves office there will be some things that didn’t get acted upon. I don’t know what his plans for this are. We’re not going to be 100% happy with him.
It’s also my take that he will address many things we have wanted him to. We’ll be very happy about those things.
