First and best choice - Mo Brooks.
Experienced rep who could win state wide special election

Roy Moore

It’s politics and it’s Bentley’s call.

Please stop bringing up that demagogue. Roy Moore is a grandstanding idiot. I'm sick of his BS.
Mo Brooks would be my choice as well, but I guarantee Bentley will screw this up.
Got to be Roy Moore! (OK - Gov. Bentley is a Kasich-endorsing squish so probably not happening - but the liberal skull explosions would be fantastic).
He might appoint Big Luther Strange, the AG, to try to forestall impeachment efforts. Mr. Strange would be a solid pick.
The Republicans and Gov. Bentley do not have a good relationship right now - wouldn’t put it past him to appoint a rat. Wouldn’t THAT be a kick?
