We are. They have been indoctrinated and brainwashed to the point that they are unable to function as human beings. They lack the ability to form and express individual thoughts. They cannot make simple decisions on their own. All they can do is wreak havoc and shout slogans. As Erickson said about the U-Boat crew of Germans in The Cruel Sea the only hope is to shoot them and hope for a better crop next time.

I just realized the reason millenials are so into the Walking Dead is because they’re literally walking dead, having killed their sense of morality.
