At this point, I will guess that you were a Cruz supporter that was kicked out and has now returned.

LOL. That’s about the third dozenth straw man argument you’ve pushed on this thread (and your previous post had been so thoughtful!). I fought the Cruzers in the Great Freeper Civil War tooth and nail. I used my Aspie powers of focus and my professional training in research to investigate and debunk dozens of lies put out there by the Trump haters. Here’s a thread from the primaries that Jim Robinson started from a lengthy research post I wrote: “A FReeper discussion on the history of Trump's conservative pro-America positions” (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3421864/posts). In fact, you yourself posted on that thread (#39) saying: “A Keeper! Incoming.”

I’m a huge Trump supporter, and I admire his family. All I did was express something I truly believe from numerous things I’ve read, seen, and heard--and no, I just can’t see it as insulting and horrible as you do. That’s no more than the opinion of someone on a forum online. You’re imbuing me with so much power, as if out of the hundreds of voices online commenting on this issue (including people in Trump’s own Twitter feed), my personal opinion really matters in some way. I have as much chance of winning the lotto, as I do of personally influencing Barron Trump’s life—and I would imagine the same goes for you, regardless of what you with the best of intentions may think you're doing here.

You keep making the assumption that those who actually understand the signs and comment on that topic are somehow Trump haters attacking his kid (I’m sure it never occurred to you that if the boy is on the spectrum intensely negative reactions to the idea could also be hurtful if he learned about them). You know, your argument that it’s better to keep even a famous kid’s life private (at least when reasonably possible) is a pretty good one; I wish you had just run with that in the first place, instead of aggressively criticizing and fighting people much more intimately familiar with the pertinent signs over whether he is or isn’t. Across your many posts on this thread, you seem to be responding primarily from emotion. And that’s OK. I’m glad you love the Trump family so passionately.

No one should have to tell you to MYOB about someone else’s child, It’s understood. Labeling and pigeonholing a child demonstrates nosiness and a complete lack of empathy, unless you are intentionally trying to be harmful. Nothing else makes any sense. Your special Aspie powers are failing you if you actually believe that this is acceptable. It’s not. It’s bad etiquette and very bad form. It always has been and always will be considered rude and invasive.

The initial speculation of autism became aspergers syndrome, and finally now it’s “in the spectrum” based on your unprofessional observations of video on stage. Although you portend to be an expert, you will never convince many people that you are correct since you have never met your patient and are unqualified to diagnose.

But since your still here, I suggest that you send your heartfelt concerns and Aspie revelations directly to President Elect Donald Trump and tell him about his son.
