full title.................Trump's TV summit: The Donald summons network executives and anchors from 'the dishonest media' to Trump Tower ................................Donald Trump met with executives and on-air anchors from the major television networks in the United States on Monday afternoon at Trump Tower.
The surprise get-together came as a shock given some of the comments Trump made during his campaign about the 'dishonest media,' and was not mentioned in a mid-morning conference call that his transition team held with reporters.
It was organized by Trump's senior adviser and former campaign manager Kellyanne Conway, who said she put the meeting together in just two days.
Conway asked that the hour-long discussion be off the record, meaning no one in attendance will be able report about what happened in the meeting.

Demand equal time, threaten to have the FCC yank their broadcast licenses, threaten to hurl the anti-trust division of the Justice Dept. on them...

Trump is one smart cookie...as a business man, he understands the old adage...hold your friends close, but your enemies even closer. Obama had the Media in his pocket when he took office and even threatened Conservative voices like Rush Limbaugh with censure. The media speculation on Trumps first priority is all over the map...his true first priority just might be to heal the American divide and he needs the support of the media to do so. Having Bannon as his chief strategist is now making sense. Underestimate this man at your peril.
Yes, his SNL tweet about “Equal time?” probably wasn’t just about SNL, since this meeting was already in the works.
