It's like the victor killing all of his enemies except for one. That one is then directed to go back and tell everyone to shape up and don't mess with me.

Trump made it clear, that he will deal with the media on his terms, not theirs. All through the campaigns, both the primaries and general, Trump played his own game and not the media's. I don't think they ever figured that out.

The MSM have been slapped hard up the side of their collective heads. They just haven't felt the blow or seen the swelling and bruising yet.
