I live in NC and they ask your name, look you up on voter rolls, have you sign a paper and supposedly match your signature but you are not asked for any sort of ID, not even your voter’s registration card.

That's how it works where I live in PA, too. But the chances are pretty good that when you go to vote you'll run into someone who knows you or recognizes the name you announce and you'd better be you!

Same in my state. Time for nationwide voting rules overhaul.

Paper ballots, retained six months.
Photo ID required.
Purple thumbprint on ballot.
Two party counting.
Rolls purged annually.
