Not Again: Hillary Reportedly Eyeing Another Presidential Run
Townhall ^ | 11/29/2016 | Katie Pavlich

If you thought a devastating loss to Republican Donald Trump four weeks ago and to rival Barack Obama in 2008 was finally going to put former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton out of the political game for good, think again.

According to veteran reporter Ron Fournier, someone who has been closely covering the Clintons for years, Hillary Clinton is keeping her options open for yet another presidential run in 2020.

Third times-a-charm? Not so much.

Clinton's biggest problem going into Election Day was a lack of enthusiasm and by the time results started rolling in, it showed. Her so-called "blue-firewall" of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania was bulldozed by Trump, who took all of them in addition to Ohio. The Obama coalition failed to show up to vote for her and if she chooses to run again in 2020, they'll stay home again. Not to mention Clinton barely made it out of the 2016 democrat primary against Bernie Sanders, whose supporters stayed home or supported third party candidates.

Clinton's strategy was to run against Trump, not on her own policies or platforms. That failed. She is a representation of the past, not just for Democrats but for the entire country. The scandal plagued cloud that has followed her since her early days on the Watergate investigation never dissipated and in fact has only gotten darker as she's gained more power. The majority doesn't want that kind of corruption around anymore.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. A third Clinton run would be insanity.

Well, the Dems nominated Estes Kefauver against Ike in 1952 and again in 1956.

Old Estes got creamed both times.

I don’t think we’ll ever see another white person nominated by the Democrats for President. Booker, Harris and Castro are your 2020 contenders.

She was running on empty near the end of the campaign. She doesn’t have the stamina or endurance to make it through two more years of a grueling campaign. And the Dems will never forgive her for losing to Trump.

“She barely had the strength to run this time around. In four years, she will be even more infirm.”

She’s banking on the Russians having perfected head transplant technology by then.

Trump might not have won against anyone else.

Bernie is nuts, yeah, but fewer people hated him, he might have won..!

The more I think about it the more I think a Hillary Run might be a good form of re-election assurance for DJT.

RUN, HILLARY, RUN..!

She’ll suck up ALL the lib money, THEN LOSE.

I say more power to her.

Adlai Stevenson. Kefauver was the Dims' VP candidate.

She is dead politically. Even many deep liberals are tired of her and would not vote for her again. She is done. Stick a fork in her. She will just have to settle with her $100 million estate. Until Trump convicts her.

This matter isn’t what Hillary wants.

It’s what the Democratic Party wants.

Yes, they are idiots. They were idiots to nominate her this time.

But would require not only idiocy, but insanity - suicidal insanity - for them to do it a second time after what happened on Nov. 8th.

I don’t see them as yet being suicidally insane......

Adlai Stevenson, not Estes Kefauver, and Stevenson had to be browbeaten into running into the Ike buzz saw again.

Maybe this is just a ploy to try to keep the money coming in to the Clinton Foundation from gullible foreigners.

Bingo!

The Clintons have to have the illusion of either having power (Bill as POTUS, Hillary as SOS) or be on the verge of acquiring power (Hillary's two Presidential runs) in order to keep the bribes coming into the Clinton foundation.

No power, no bribe money for the Clintons.

Reports since the election are saying that "donations" are drying up for the Clinton Foundation. These reports about Hillary running again are an attempt to get the money rolling in to the Clinton Foundation.

I don't think it will work.
