“Made in USA” can be a selling point to offset higher price. More efficient production methods can reduce cost of labor without lowering wages, thereby making lower prices doable. Thanks for the advice, though, Mexico.

When I shop, I look for the Made in America tag. I will pay more for Made in America. I know some family has a member producing the product.
We are not talking about higher prices to the consumer. Carrier wasn’t going to lower the retail cost of their home AC units “Hecho En Mexico”. This move was to increase their profit margins for their international stockholders.
