I am so sad about this, as I am with an death, especially senseless ones. One of my cousins was on the Seattle PD for a number of years and another was an officer in Oregon that got shot several times and had to go on disability. These senseless LEO deaths tick me off. Prayers up for him and his family. I think I heard Fox say earlier that he was 45 and a 17 year officer on the department.
I heard a little while ago that they were able to get the 2 kids out of the house - thank goodness. While it sounds like they may be physically unharmed, I can’t imagine what they’ve gone through and what it’s going to take to help them from a mental perspective.
For those that don’t know, Tacoma is about 30 miles south of Seattle down I-5. A suburb of Tacoma is where the 4 police officers were brutally assassinated in 2009 while on break in a coffee shop (now closed). Huckabee got a lot of heat for commuting the shooter’s (Clemmons) sentence.

There are some rough areas in Tacoma (like most larger cities). I’ve heard and read many times that Domestic Violence calls are some of the deadliest for LEOs.
Obama, Holder, et al didn’t do anything to support officers, Trump has their back and will speak out for them. In addition, Seattle PD as well as others around the country have had their hands tied by the DOJ investigations and rules they placed on them (not to mention sympathetic Dim mayors). I hope Trump’s DOJ removes all of these restrictions.
Who cares about John Kasich anymore? Obviously Trump didn't need him to win Ohio or anything else. Why is it "so important" to have John Kasich on board, like he is some God that everyone will listen to?
I wonder if Trump even asked Kasich to join him in Cincinnati.

I’m with you.
There is no difference in my mind between this and baking a wedding cake or taking pictures. In my mind, they targeted those places to make an issue of gay rights, etc. and unfortunately put some of them out of business. I suspect some of these designers will be drooling over how Melania looks in some of the designs and the free publicity the designers of them will be getting. When they come crawling back to her, she can then tell them to go pound sand (in her very elegant way - I know she wouldn’t use those words).
I’m not a fashionista, but I didn’t know most of the names, except the ones that I posted that said they would work with her. It would be funny if Gloria VanderBuilt wanted to work with Melania as Gloria is Anderson Cooper’s mother. As an aside - I love her jeans - fit me perfectly and I get them in various colors at Costco for $17.99.

I’m sure that Trump showing LEOs the respect they deserve will go along way to restoring the moral of our brave men and women who give so much to be part of a selfless community.
You are right SC, about the danger of domestic violence calls.
My hubby, a retired LEO, said that was when he had the greatest possibility of getting shot.
Tempers run high in dealing with family problems.
Have to even watch your back from the person who made the 911 call, spouse or abused one sometimes can be just as dangerous.
