Montgomery County Judge Dismisses Recount Petitions

A Montgomery County judge has dismissed the petitions of voters in 78 precincts to recount votes or forensically analyze voting machines.

Judge Bernard A. Moore heard arguments from attorneys representing Jill Stein’s campaign on why the campaign believed the final tally may not be correct.

On the other side of the aisle, attorneys for the Montgomery County Board of Elections and the Pennsylvania campaign of President-elect Donald Trump called the arguments a “fishing expedition.”

“What we keep going back to is that our voting machines are not connected to the internet,” said board of elections Solicitor Nicole Forzato.

“Montgomery County takes great, great pride in being concerned about its infrastructure for IT generally, and they have gone through a vigorous process to make sure our technology general, including voter services technology and the voting machines are safe and secure to use. ”

Hopefully this ruling can be used as precedent, and stop the other country recounts in PA.

I love that they have to do this county by county.

Again I ask; why even do the recounts before certification? If everyone on both sides are saying these recounts won’t change the results, why doesn’t some smart-thinking judge respond by telling them to begin the recounts at a later date. If in reality all they are looking for is trust in the system, this can even be determined in 2017.

I can throw a democrat further than I trust them. All this recount crap gives me a headache. They will lie, cheat and steal until their witch is president. I’ll be so relieved once Trump is sworn in.

Let a judge rule that Jill Stein herself must personally recount all the votes. She wants it let her do the work and ‘prove’ every vote.

“If in reality all they are looking for is trust in the system, this can even be determined in 2017.”....

Now why would a reasonable person think this is objectionable? Because the liberals are NOT reasonable and do not think. Once again, without even intending it, Trump has created several new jobs be they only temporary, to count the votes when it makes absolutely no sense and, as you stated, will not change the outcome. You can’t make this stuff up.

I think this is a precursor of a scene we are going to see over and over again during Trumps presidency.

The Marxists, having stacked the courts with biased judges will sue and sue and obstruct and obstruct and riot and riot.

Montgomery County was the Dems. biggest hope for a pickup in PA. It is a traditionally big Dem. County. Without Montgomery, they ought to throw in the towel.

Better to review the voter rolls.

Agree, but it won’t end then. They are already floating the conflict of interest balloon all over the place.

There are two Americans, Republicans who believe in law and order and Democrats who do not think the law applies to them.

The best part is that the voting machines are not connected to the Internet. These are connected like my toaster is connected to the Internet. I would throw the case out because the Stein lawyers don’t understand hack and connect to the Internet. My job as a judge is not to educate you in connectivity. Get out of my court.

Excellent point.

Several newspapers did just that in Florida 2000, and low and behold, Bush would have won by more votes than initially reported.

Yes. These are the same people claiming Trump has no evidence of illegals voting, while talking about Russian vote hacking (without any evidence).
