He told us vastly more than that he would return.
He told us exactly when, where, and why he would return.
He told us the things he expected us to do and understand.
The things he told us are way more important than what conniving men would try to do on a global scale, since their success is limited by the will of God.
He told us “be not troubled” about these things. (Mat 24)

Jesus did not tell us when he was going to return.
Jesus said, “No man knoweth.”
That’s good enough for me.
