I love how he talks about Alexander The Great, and says he wouldn’t be surprised or baffled by the foe we face today.
He said this in context of how nothing is new under the sun. As he says, technology throws in wrinkles here and there, but warfare is a primitive environment that has similarities then and now, as does human nature.
I also appreciated his comment about our quitting the battle, washing our hands and saying “our job is done here”. He says that we can say that, but the enemy gets a vote too, and they aren’t done with us.
