President Rodrigo Duterte was seen laughing and smiling during a phone conversation with US President-elect Donald Trump on Friday night.

The Presidential Communications Office posted an excerpt of the conversation on its Facebook account before noon Saturday.

The video was mostly muted due to the nature of the conversation, but Duterte was seen smiling all the time.

Malacañang (the Philippine equivalent of the White House) said earlier that according to Duterte, he and Trump have a "good rapport." In a released transcript by Malacañang, Duterte assured Trump that the Philippine government's campaign against drugs is being don "the right way."

"He was quite sensitive also to our worry about drugs," Duterte said.

Duterte also said that Trump had invited him to visit New York and Washington DC.

"He said that if I’m around, he wants to be notified of my presence," the Philippine leader said.

This is fun. These countries all know full well what’s coming. They are possibly going to be cut off of funding and they also had better start respecting and saying nice things about America. They know that a real leader is at the helm now, and not some malcontent child-man.

“The US should think carefully before getting friendly with another Marcos crony, which is basically what Duterte is.”

Oh, for the love of Pete.

Rewritten history is like a cancer. No matter how you cut away at it, it just keeps growing back.

Marcos was a good guy. A white hat. He *saved* the Philippines from collapsing into the hellish chaos of dual attacks, one from the commies, one from the pigdog murder-muzzies.

It has been established that the atrocities of which Marcos was accused were committed by commies.

He was taken down by a worldwide media conspiracy and the weakness of American demonrats, and the Republic of the Philippines has never been as well-off since.

“The Left is outraged because he called Obama’s mother a whore.”

My first response to that would have gotten me banned, so let me just say how offended I am that he told the truth about the nasty little slut.

Well, was that just kind of true? I think Obama looks a lot more like Frank Marshall Davis than Barry Sr.

Obama son of Frank Marshall Davis, Danny Williams son of Bill Clinton, and Chealsie daughter of Web Hubbell, all seem pretty obvious when you look at photographs, Chealsie is probably the least obvious of those three, IMO.

“Well, not EVERY nation; taking the President of Taiwan’s call yesterday was a shot across the bow of China that a new sheriff is in town.”

That is how the MSM is portraying the call. I don’t believe China sees it the same way, and the left would love to drive a wedge between the U.S. and Chinese.

“I don’t believe China sees it the same way”

Then why did China lodge] a “protest” with Taiwan about the call?

I was not aware to that- given that Trump has called them out on their currency manipulation they are probably as butthurt now as the MSM.
