the only reason bush senior was put on the ticket was to unite the party if Reagan had not done that. I am positive that the bush family would of worked behind the scenes to have Reagan loose.

in my opinion the bushes were the worst thing that could of happen to the republican party after Reagan and set us up for the Clinton years and Obama years...yes I did support the bushes but after watching Bush senior and junior prostitute themselves to the Clinton foundation in the raising of money for Haitian relief I had my blinders removed and see them as corrupt as the Clintons but more skilled at hiding there corruption.

Your first paragraph is speculative so we really don't know. In hindsight, Reagan would have won with a true conservative as vp, but no one knew that at that time.

I supported the Bushes, too, but in hindsight I somewhat agree with you. I don't think they are corrupt, but are useful tools and they are not aware they are being used. They are the good government group and everyone needs to work together for the common good. At one time, that was OK, because both parties had America's interests first. However, as we know, that is no longer true as many companies, politicians of both parties and media are globalists first.

Perhaps the Bushes and Clintons are behind us for good, but I have my doubts.
