Sears’ “Wish Book” was a treasured thing in my house at Christmas time.

Wow. I'd forgotten about that. That was fantastic to pore over the pages of toys, race car sets, train sets, you name it.

My sister and I would pour over the Christmas Wish Book looking at all the toys and other things we wanted for Christmas and would make a Christmas list that would include the page in could be found on.

Our local Sears sold more than half of their store space to Whole Foods. The only part that remained a Sears store is the part that connects to the rest of the mall.

I remember getting that for Christmas back in the 70s.I had always been into trains up to then.Many good race memories.
