Of course those were the people who recommended the XTerra strongly and that was a mess on wheels.

I test drove an XTerra and was nervous the whole time. I’m not a nervous driver - I have driven most everything on wheels from Semis, to Tractors and combines, skiploaders, motorcycles, other heavy equipment like excavators, first car was a Caddilac, had various pickup trucks and full size vans (15 seats). The XTerra was one I did not feel comfortable in.

XTerra—small dinky clutch taken from light car application resulting in a 15,000 mile replacement interval—or bad radiators that leaked coolant into the automatic transmission fluid.
