Arab media outlets have reported that the IDF targets inside Syria near the capital city of Damascus early Wednesday morning.
The incident has yet to be confirmed by Israeli sources, and the IDF has refused to comment on the report.
According to the claims, large explosions were heard around the El-Mezzeh airbase just outside of Damascus.
No casualties were reported in the attack.
A Syrian state media service report by SANA claimed the attack was made by land-based missile batteries, with no reference to Israeli air units.

Why? Why would they do that? They have a security arrangement with the Russians. Why would they step into this?
That just makes me think that whatever arab launched the attack doesn’t want to admit it so they’re blaming it on the jews. I’m not a huge jew-fan but Israel has nothing to gain by getting involved here.
Enemies of Israel are Hezbollah and Iran, Israel is actually still in a state of war with Syria. They watch these people. Nothing ever seems to happen when Israel does these things.

No matter whose side one is on, I hope they do it without accidents, dangerous work.
I would not want to see Assad replaced but Assad is an ally of Iran and the message from Israel has been “Iran is bad, Iran is evil” consistently especially on the much very noisy Iran Nuclear Deal issue.
Israel and its supporters allowed Bob Corker to pass a bill to enable Obama’s nuclear deal.
