Clinton ally and liberal Super PAC operator David Brock told reporters Tuesday that he plans to create a new outlet designed to serve as a counterpoint to alt-right website Breitbart.
Brock purchased liberal website BlueNationReview in 2015, rebranding it in 2016 as “ShareBlue.” ShareBlue, he said Tuesday, would be the “Breitbart of the left…” so long as the financial contributions kept pouring.
Brock also confirmed earlier reports that he plan to shift the focus of Media Matters for America away from Fox News and more towards attacking the alt-right and fake news. “A lot of

There are scads of liberal or left-wing websites out there.
Whatever the reason why left-wing talk radio doesn't work, it hasn't affected their control of other media.
What is really ironic is that Air America is the CIA’s airline.
Brock wants to reinvent legacy media.
Lol, good luck with that. The field is already crowded with scores of lefty propaganda outlets that have been around for years.
If by Breitbart of the left he means factual, well written, persuasive then good luck. The left could use it.
They only have ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS, MSNBC, Ny Times, etc.

The Alt- left already have Media Matters, and yet they did not have the same passion, or following.
The Alt-left are way too left for mainstream America, but as long as these radical stay in their elitist circle of friends , then they will never get America, or her people.
What do you think is worse for them.. Not owning every single piece of media out there or most people not believing what they have?

There’s the real plan, I suspect. Brock knows yet another leftie website won’t accomplish anything, but it might raise money if stupid lefties think it could.
