Of course it is... Does one need a CDL for driving a car bomb? These questions are nuanced and difficult to answer.
They can always go home.
They’re “refugees”. They expect a license without having to take the test.
I know - we’re screwed once Trump’s business growth plans get put in place (which I suspect will be immediately). But, alas, when nobody is working and we can’t pay our outrageous hydro bills, we can all legally smoke pot to take our mind off of it.
Hope the instructors take note if the Syrians show little interest in learning how to stop.

The article references Canada, but not to worry, they’ll get to us. No doubt California will open a special line for Syrian refugees at the DMV with the drivers’ handbook in their native language and another line for Somalian refugees.
Sounds like a dangerous occupation .... correct the Jihadis once too often and end up with an impromptu tracheotomy.

Alas, too late for me. I will, however, continue to cheer you guys on and hope that we get our “Trump” after this lame-brained, unicorn-riding, pretty-boy meathead has done whatever damage he’s going to do. We also, in Ontario, have it worse. We have an even more stupid, lefty lesbian running the province. We’re double-doomed.
You need a gov’t ID to vote in Mexico also. Only one North American country seems to have issues with IDs and voting...
They think driving a car is the same as riding a camel. Boy are they in for a surprise.
Hand over hand?! They still teach that? I NEVER turn my steering wheel like that. I alternately move both hands in the same direction.
Oh the humanity! We gotta let them in, feed them, cloth them, house them, provide them with rape victims and bury our dead, and we’re supposed to worry about their being frustrated?

I’ve seen the steering wheel knobs, but never used one myself.
